About Park Ridge Achievement Academy (PRAA)
Welcome to Park Ridge Achievement Academy, a proud PRE-K through 8th-grade campus dedicated to empowering the next generation of scholars!
At PRAA, every child is known, supported, challenged, and celebrated. Together, we build confidence, character, and a strong foundation for lifelong success.
Our History & Partnership
Formerly known as Park Ridge Academic Magnet School, our campus proudly transitioned to the name Park Ridge Achievement Academy in 2025. This exciting milestone occurred after the City of Baker School System forming a strategic partnership with Helix Community Schools, ushering in a new era of educational innovation, community support, and academic excellence for our students.
Our Mission
Park Ridge Achievement Academy will engage all students in an enhanced and rigorous curriculum through research-based and data-driven instruction in a safe, child-centered, and nurturing environment.
Our Vision
Park Ridge Achievement Academy shall be an entity-nurturing academic excellence for all students by providing quality education through creative and innovative methods of instruction.
We ensure that:
- Students will realize that learning is a life-long commitment.
- Students will develop an appreciation of the arts, self-esteem, problem-solving skills, responsibility, respect, and a sense of ownership.
Our Motto
"The School Where Everybody S.H.I.N.E.S.!"
