About Helix Community Schools

At Helix Community Schools, we are committed to exposing students to innovative academic choices in a unique, career-oriented learning environment. We are also charting college and career pathways for our students in the Aviation, Legal and STEM professions.

Helix Community Schools is a homegrown charter school network headquartered in Baton Rouge, Louisiana which includes Helix Mentorship Academy, Helix Aviation Academy, and Helix Legal Academy. Helix is set to open Helix Artificial Intelligence and Medical Academy in Opelousas, Louisiana in August 2025 and Helix Energy and Agriculture Academy in August 2026. At Helix, we are committed to exposing students to innovative college and career pathways in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math STEAM) and the law.

Helix’s approach to preparing our students for academic excellence is grounded in a deep respect for the utility of data to drive progress toward ambitious goals.

To achieve these goals, we deliberately chart a path, with specific time-bound benchmarks, for students to make progress from where they are to where they need to be.

Along this path, we regularly collect and analyze data to plan and execute individually tailored interventions to keep students on course to achieving their goals.
