HMMA: Annual Geaux Pink Walk
The Helix Mentorship & Maritime Academy (HMMA) Key Club is proud to announce the 2nd Annual Geaux Pink Walk, taking place on Friday, October 9. This event is dedicated to raising funds and awareness in support of the Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center.
How Students Can Show Support We are encouraging all students to get involved and show their support for this vital cause. Students who donate $2 will be allowed to wear a pink shirt with their regular uniform pants on the Friday of the walk. Additionally, there will be items available for purchase during the event, including Pink Lemonade and more, so students are encouraged to bring a few extra dollars.
Making a Difference in Our Community Every penny raised during the Geaux Pink Walk will be donated directly to support breast cancer research. The HMMA Key Club is built on the pillars of Service, Leadership, and Community. We are incredibly proud of our Key Club members for continuing to demonstrate leadership through service and for giving our students an opportunity to make a real difference in the community.
