We’re excited to announce that Helix Community Schools students will have the opportunity to travel abroad to Italy & France in Summer 2027! This unforgettable experience will immerse students in new cultures, iconic landmarks, global history, and hands-on learning that builds independence, confidence, and academic growth. This opportunity will be for Helix Community Schools students who will be in 9th - 12th grade for the 2026-2027 school year!

Enrollment will open during the meeting, and spaces are limited — so don’t miss out! In the meantime, families can explore EF’s website to find helpful FAQs and learn more about our trusted student-travel partner with 60 years of experience. Helix Mentorship and Maritime Academy is hosting a toy-themed Spirit Day on September 4! Students are invited to dress up as their favorite toy characters or show off a toy-inspired outfit.

Theme Inspiration Ideas

Cowboys & Cowgirls: Boots, jeans, plaid, bandanas, and cowboy hats
Space Rangers: White, green, purple, and futuristic accessories
Aliens: Bright green, blue, purple, and antennas
Classic Toys: Dolls, toy soldiers, or other favorite childhood toys
Pattern & Color Mix: Cow print, clouds, stars, denim, or bright toy colors

Dress Code Guidelines

Be creative and keep outfits school-appropriate.
Prohibited Items: No masks, weapons, or unsafe props allowed.
